Where curious minds learn to learn.

Nurturing curious minds and building confident futures — from Crèche through Grade 6, in the heart of Amasaman, Accra.

Our story

Rooted in the community.

The Learning Place opened its doors in 2019 with a single, enduring belief: that every child, given the right environment, can thrive. From our earliest days as a small neighbourhood school, we have grown into a trusted institution serving families across the community.

We deliver quality education aligned with the GES and NaCCA-approved curriculum, preparing students for the rigours of life beyond the classroom while celebrating the joy of childhood learning.

Our school provides a seamless academic journey from Crèche through Grade 6 — a community where pupils, teachers, and parents work together toward shared goals.

Our mission

An inclusive, stimulating learning environment where every child is empowered to discover their potential and develop the skills for a successful future.

Our vision

The most nurturing and academically excellent school in the region — where students graduate with confidence, integrity, and purpose.

Our community

Parents, teachers, and students working in a spirit of partnership — in the classroom and beyond it.

Our core values

We hold ourselves and our students to the highest standards of honesty and moral character.

Programs

One journey, Crèche to Grade 6.

A seamless academic path — all under one roof, so your child grows up in one community they know and trust. From Kindergarten through Grade 6, teaching follows the curriculum and schemes approved by the Ghana Education Service (GES) and the National Council for Curriculum & Assessment (NaCCA).

Why us

Why families choose us.

Every child deserves a strong foundation — and someone who believes in them.

Academic excellence

Holistic development

One of our youngest crossing the playground

Lessons build step by step, and teachers check understanding before moving on — no one gets left at the back of the class. By Grade 6, our pupils read confidently and reason for themselves.

With small classes, every child here is known by name — how they learn, what they love, and when something is off. Parents hear from us early and often, not just on report day.

Music, art, cultural days and time to play are part of the school week, not extras. Children here perform, compete, and speak in front of others from early on.
